Each year 50 young Parthenais
bulls are selected for entry to the Evaluation Station where for
6 months their individual growth performances are recorded. They
are kept in the same conditions and regime each year for fair
and accurate comparisons.
These
bulls are selected from 4,000 animals in
210 registered herds.
Strict
health and technical rules are demanded by UPRA Parthenaise, the
National French Breeding Institute and the French sanitary service.
